The studio

Nine years of lashing, and still fussy about it

Ashleigh started in 2017 with the five day Classic Lash Mastery at Lash Joy Academy, then worked alongside her friend Jordan at Lash City Townsville. That is where the commitment to lash health, precision and personalised application came from, and it is still the thing the studio is built on.

Within six months she was a top ten finalist in the Sunshine Pro Competition, which led to a live competition at the Brisbane Hair and Beauty Expo, where she placed second in Australia and New Zealand for the Classic Student category. In 2018 she worked with Lash Prodigy and Lash Joy in Brisbane, assisting on training courses.

Happy Lash Co was born in 2019, after she had mastered handcrafted volume. It has since grown through four different locations and now has Lily and Jaz working alongside her.

Lash coaching and education

Learn to lash, one to one

Private mentoring with Ashleigh, for beginners and for established techs who want to refine their work. Hands on feedback on posture, hand placement and isolation, at a pace built around you, working on live models.

Training in Townsville also means learning how to handle the North Queensland tropical climate, including humidity management for better lash retention. That is not something an online course can teach you.
